DECATUR, Ala. — One of the world’s leading innovators in components, Ashton Golf announces the relocation of its corporate headquarters and all other operations to Decatur, Ala., where it will continue to provide high-quality component clubheads through its international network of distributors and retailers.
“Ashton Golf has a strong reputation for manufacturing a very distinctive line of golf club components, and we’re very excited to bring Ashton to the United States,” says John Sims, president of Ashton Golf. “The quality and craftsmanship of Ashton products has always been unparalleled in the component industry. It’s a reputation of which we are very proud, and we will continue focusing most of our efforts in research and development to ensure all of our products maintain the highest standards imaginable in both quality and innovative design.”
Ashton’s extreme dedication to quality and design became apparent with its recent introduction of the all-new E3 Driver, one of the most unique drivers in the game today. Different from any other component head on the market, the E3 titanium driver head features brazing technology, instead of traditional welding, which effectively makes it a ‘zero-weld’ clubhead. The E3 crown is made of super-thin 15-3-3-3 Beta titanium, while the CNC-milled cup face is comprised of extremely light and strong TVC titanium. The E3 body is cast in full 90-6-4 titanium, and all three different titanium pieces are assembled with precision ‘Micro Spec Technology.’
Established in 2003, Ashton Golf has grown into a truly international company with distributors located all over the world. The Ashton line includes the finest component clubheads, and they have received world-wide acclaim by winning more major North American long drive competitions than all of the competitors combined. |
