NEWARK, OHIO
— Citing quality and performance as paramount
considerations, former PGA TOUR and Ryder Cup
player Ed Sneed has selected Logic Tradition
M-05 forged irons designed by The GolfWorks
for his upcoming play in selected events on
the Champions Tour.
“With so many iron choices available on
the market, the selection process was long and
grueling,” says Sneed, a multiple winner
on the PGA Tour who is developing a unique teaching
approach in his new Dynamic Playability Golf
Schools. “However, the Logic M-05 irons
give me the game-enhancing characteristics I’m
looking for in a set of forged irons. Their
appearance is very traditional, while their
feel is extremely solid. Overall, their performance
has been outstanding.”
The Logic Tradition M-05 irons feature a high-playability,
cavity-back design with a blade profile. Forged
from a raw billet 1035 carbon steel, the Logic
M-05 irons are created during an exhaustive
five-step process that includes hammering the
cavity shape, rather than having it milled as
do most models. Although extraneous in its method,
this forging process and repeated heat-treating
give these iron heads a stronger and more dense
grain structure which translates to more efficient
energy transfer at impact and superior feel.
The Logic Tradition M-05 irons are available
in 2-iron through sand wedge. Cavity-back design
concentrates the weight low around the perimeter,
yielding a very forgiving player’s club.
In addition, leading and trailing edges are
blended and will not snag turf.
