NEWARK,
OHIO —As the golf industry continues to
strive for putter designs that allow golfers
with less-than-perfect strokes to putt confidently
and successfully, The GolfWorks unveils its
new Xtreme Moment putters, two new tungsten-weighted
putter designs with the highest moments of inertia
of any 340- and 360-gram putter EVER!
The Xtreme Moment putters are the latest product
of hundreds of research hours conducted by renowned
golf equipment expert Ralph Maltby and The GolfWorks
design team. Designed for the industry’s
highest moment of inertia — the physical
property that causes an object to resist twisting
when struck off-center — Xtreme Moment
putters feature a strong, CNC-precision milled,
lightweight aluminum body with uniquely designed
tungsten cylinders that are strategically positioned
to maximize the putter’s moment of inertia.
“The lightweight aluminum body provides
for a great feel while the tungsten weights
bring the putter head back to the proper weight
to maximize the moment of inertia. The result
is an almost uncanny resistance to off-center
hits,” says Britt Lindsey, GolfWorks vice
president of technical services and member of
The GolfWorks design team. “We also added
unique alignment aids to take the guesswork
out of lining up a putt. These are putters everyone
should try. Until you putt with one, you have
no idea how solid and consistent a putter can
feel.”
