LOUISVILLE, Ken.—The largest international organization of golf equipment professionals, the Professional Clubmakers’ Society (PCS) has announced that Terry Koehler, president of Eidolon Golf will be presenting a workshop at their annual membership conference. The 2008 PCS Golf Equipment Professional Technology Conference will be held at the Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club in Palm Harbor, Fla., January 12, 2008 through January 15, 2008.

“Terry Koehler’s presentation is another great addition to this year’s conference schedule,” says Carol Huff, manager of membership and partner relations. “This year, our membership conference will be a landmark in the growth and future success of PCS, and we are working very hard to make it a ‘can’t miss’ event.”

Koehler’s presentation will focus on advice for building a brand and promoting a business on a shoestring budget. He has developed a list of effective methods for creating and building a brand name and steps to a successful selling method. He will also cover many cost-effective ways to build awareness and a customer base for a business.

Koehler’s credentials throughout his career have contributed to his knowledge in marketing and public relations for the golf industry. He has consulted with over a dozen small or emerging golf companies, and in the mid-1990s was director of marketing for the Ben Hogan Company. He published a short book called The SCoR Method – A Simple Way to Achieve Precision in Your Shotmaking, and is working toward publishing two more in the next year. He has also successfully started and operated two golf equipment companies, Reid Lockhart and Eidolon Golf. For more information about Terry Koehler or Eidolon Golf, visit www.eidolongolf.com.
