TORRINGTON,
Conn. — Featuring four pro golfers whose
combined talents have achieved 80 PGA TOUR
victories and earned more than $13.7 million
this year alone, this week’s Monday Night
Golf was not only a battle of titans, but also
a battle of Rifle ‘Real Steel’ shafts
versus stepped shafts. The victors both played
premium Rifle steel shafts to win the ‘Battle
at the Bridges.’ Two different Rifle
models were played by the winners: Rifle Flighted
and Rifle Project X.
“The exhibition at the exclusive Bridges
club north of San Diego was very exciting, and
it
was rewarding to see Rifle’s consistency
and accuracy showcased in a prime time event,” says
John Lauchnor, president and CEO of Royal Precision. “For
more than 80 years, Royal Precision has produced
the most technologically advanced steel shafts
in golf, and the Rifle stepless design and patented
internal rifling are two examples of why Rifle
is the golf industry’s leader in premium
steel shafts. Though other steel shaft manufacturers
may try to copy portions of our technologically
superior products, there’s only one ‘Real
Steel’ and that’s Rifle.”
Many steel shaft manufacturers still depend upon
30-year-old stepped shaft designs. However, Rifle
steel shafts are often considered the world’s
most advanced steel shafts because the shaft
design incorporates four unique technologies
which provide unparalleled performance and consistency.
Only Rifle steel shafts offer: Frequency Matching
that perfectly matches a set of clubs through
electronic calibration; Stepless Design Technology
that eliminates the energy-robbing ‘steps’ found
on most other steel shafts, and provides greater
accuracy and a smooth, yet solid, feel at impact;
Patented Internal ‘Rifling’ that
transfers energy more efficiently, reduces vibration
and increases distance; and advanced Flighted
Technology that produces variable ball trajectories
for different clubs within a single set.
