LIVERMORE, Calif. — The Seaver Golf Academy (SGA) announces that its founder and lead instructor, Eric Jones, will participate in the 3rd Annual CCEF Golf Tournament on Friday, May 18th 2007 at Poppy Ridge Golf Course in Livermore.

The 2003 RE/MAX World Long Drive Senior Champion, Jones will provide free instruction and tips on the driving range, then perform a long drive and trick shot demonstration. During the tournament, Jones will also hit optional tee shots from one of the par-5 holes in exchange for donations from the players. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Livermore Valley Charter School.

“The Choice for Children Education Foundation (CCEF) is a non-profit group that helps develop the financial resources and community support the Livermore Valley Charter School needs to continue providing quality education, and I very pleased to offer our support at the tournament,” says Jones, who named the Seaver Golf Academy in honor of his grandfather, Charlie Seaver, one of California’s top amateur golfers.
